Editorial Policy
ProjectSarthi Editorial Policy
ProjectSarthi is an independent informational platform that helps Indian citizens discover government schemes, scholarships, and fellowships. This editorial policy outlines how we source, verify, produce, and maintain our content.
Our Team
Our editorial and research team includes an Advocate (Bar Council Registered) who specializes in education law and scheme policy, a PhD Scholar in education analysis, a PhD Researcher in data verification, an engineer who builds our eligibility tools and calculators, an entrepreneur managing grassroots outreach, and an ex-government employee who reviews policy accuracy from implementation experience. Full team details are on our About Us page.
How We Source Content
Our scheme database is sourced from official government portals including myScheme.gov.in, scholarships.gov.in, dbtbharat.gov.in, data.gov.in, PIB press releases, state government portals, UGC/CSIR/DST portals, and verified private organizations. Every scheme, scholarship, and fellowship page links directly to its official source.
How We Add Value Beyond Government Portals
We do not simply republish government data. Our editorial process adds: simplified language (Hinglish for Hindi belt audiences, clean English for pan-India), step-by-step application walkthroughs with simple detailing and troubleshooting, eligibility calculators and comparison tools, community Q&A where real beneficiaries share experiences, deadline tracking with live countdowns, and trending news articles covering installment releases, deadline changes, and policy updates.
Our 5-Step Editorial Process
Step 1, Source: We collect scheme information from official government portals, ministry websites, official notifications, and gazette publications.
Step 2, Verify: Our research team cross-references eligibility criteria, benefit amounts, application processes, and deadlines against the original government notification or gazette. Our ex-government employee reviews policy accuracy from an implementation perspective.
Step 3, Simplify: Our editorial team rewrites complex government language into accessible summaries. For Hindi belt audiences, content is written in Hinglish (Devanagari mixed with Roman English). For pan-India or English-speaking audiences, content stays in clear English.
Step 4, Enrich: We add eligibility sidebar filters, quick eligibility check tables, official source links, FAQ sections, community Q&A integration, and related scheme recommendations.
Step 5, Monitor: Deadlines, application portal changes, and policy revisions are tracked. Pages display “Published” and “Last Updated” dates for transparency.

AI Content Policy
Our scheme database pages use structured data from official government sources, organized through our editorial templates. Our editorial/news articles are researched and written by our human editorial team. We may use AI tools to assist with drafting or research, but all published content is reviewed, edited, and verified by our team before publication. No content is published without human editorial review.
Corrections and Updates

We aim to address corrections within 48 hours.
