Last updated: March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ProjectSarthi (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit and use projectsarthi.com. By using ProjectSarthi, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and the content of your message. If you participate in our Community Q&A forum, we collect the display name you choose and the content you post. If you submit a correction request, we receive the details you share about the error.
Information collected automatically: We collect basic analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time spent on pages, referral source (how you found us), device type (mobile, desktop, tablet), browser type, operating system, approximate geographic location (country and city level, not precise address), and screen resolution. This data is collected in aggregate and is used to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve content and user experience.
Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies for website functionality (remembering your preferences, maintaining sessions), analytics (Google Analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns), advertising (Google AdSense cookies to display relevant advertisements), and performance (LiteSpeed Cache and Cloudflare cookies for faster page loading). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functionality but will not prevent you from accessing scheme information.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do NOT collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or any government ID details. We do NOT collect bank account details, UPI IDs, or financial information. We do NOT collect passwords or login credentials for any government portal. We do NOT require user registration or account creation to access scheme information. We do NOT store any data entered in our Scheme Finder filters or eligibility calculators.
3. Scheme Finder and Calculator Tools
Our Scheme Finder tool allows users to filter government schemes by attributes such as gender, age group, caste category, income level, and location. Our financial calculators (SSY, NPS, SIP, EMI, PPF) allow users to input financial figures for calculation. All filtering and calculations are performed entirely on the client side (in your browser). We do NOT store, log, collect, transmit, or share any data entered in these tools on our servers. No personal identification is linked to filter selections or calculator inputs.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to: respond to user emails, correction requests, and editorial feedback; improve content quality, accuracy, and user experience based on analytics data; maintain website security, prevent abuse, and monitor for technical issues; understand which schemes and topics are most useful to our visitors; and display relevant advertisements through Google AdSense to support the platform financially.
