The Super IAS 500 Scholarship is a state government initiative in Manipur to provide coaching and financial support to meritorious and brilliant IAS aspirants in the state, with the aim of making Civil Services training more accessible and affordable.
About This Scheme
Super IAS 500 Scholarship Manipur is a scholarship initiative launched by the Manipur government to support and encourage meritorious and brilliant IAS aspirants in the state. The scholarship will provide offline coaching facilities by renowned IAS mentors from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Delhi, and will be held at the State Academy Training (SAT) at Takyelpat with state government funding. The first phase of the coaching program began on November 8, 2021, and will last until April 2022. The scholarship aims to help candidates avoid expensive coaching programs outside the state and provide them with an opportunity to receive quality civil service training within the state
Benefits
The scholarship program provides offline coaching facilities by renowned IAS mentors from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Delhi, at the State Academy of Training (SAT) in Takyelpat, Manipur.
The top 200 students in the Scholarship Exam will receive a full scholarship from the Manipur government and will be provided offline classes at SAT.
Students ranked 201 to 500 will be eligible for ALS Institute grants ranging from 40% to 75%, based on their ranking.
The government plans to construct a permanent facility with hostel accommodations for holding UPSC examination coaching classes.
The Chief Ministerβs Award Scheme for Civil Services Aspirants has approved a Rs 2.8 crore scholarship for offline IAS coaching.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a domicile of India.
He/She must be a permanent resident of the state of Manipur.
The applicant must be a civil service student.
The candidate must be a Meritorious and Brilliant IAS aspirant of Manipur.
Application Process

Step 2: Fill in your basic details.
Once you access the application form, fill in your basic details such as name, date of birth, and contact information.
Step 3: Enter your address details.
Provide your address details, including your current address and permanent address. Double-check all the information to avoid any errors.
Step 4: Provide your qualification details.
Provide information about your educational qualifications, such as the name of the institution, the course you are currently pursuing or the course you plan to pursue. Provide accurate details to avoid any discrepancies.
Step 5: Enter your financial details.
Provide your family’s financial details, including your parents’ occupation and income, to determine your eligibility for the scholarship. Provide accurate information to avoid any issues later on.
Step 6: Upload the required documents.
Upload all the necessary documents such as your photograph, academic transcripts, and other relevant documents. Keep these documents handy while filling out the application form. The required documents are as follows:
Applicantβs Passport size photograph
Any valid Identification proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, passport, driverβs license, bank passbook, etc.
Birth Certificate or Class 10th Mark sheet

Step 2: Download the Application Form
Download the application form from the ALS website or obtain a hard copy from the ALS office.
Step 3: Fill in the Application Form
Duly fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
Step 4: Attach Required Documents
Attach all the necessary documents such as academic certificates, ID proof, and any other relevant documents required by ALS.
