About This Scheme
The scheme “Assistance Program for Planting in Floriculture” introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to encourage floriculture in Gujarat by offering financial support to farmers cultivating various types of flowers. The assistance amount varies depending on the type of flower and whether the farmer is classified as a small/marginal or other category.
Benefits
Loose Flowers:
βΉ16,000 per hectare or 40% of cost for small/ marginal farmers.
βΉ10,000 per hectare or 25% of cost for other farmers.
Stem (Cut) Flowers:
βΉ40,000 per hectare or 40% of cost for small/ marginal farmers.
βΉ25,000 per hectare or 25% of cost for other farmers.
Tuberous Flowers:
βΉ60,000/- per hectare or 40% of cost for small/ marginal farmers.
βΉ37,500/- per hectare or 25% of cost for other farmers.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a farmer.
The applicant must be engaged in floriculture farming (loose, cut, or tuberous flowers).

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at I-Khedut Portal:
https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/
Step 2: On the home page, click on βSchemesβ and then click on βAgricultural Schemesβ.
Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the βApplyβ button and an application page will open.
Step 4: Click on “Apply New” button and submit a new application.
Step 5: Click on the “Update Application” button to add corrections to the application.
Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.
Step 7: Take a print out of the confirmed application.
