Academic Scholarship Scheme (Labor Welfare Board Madhya Pradesh)

Under this scheme, up to two children of workers employed in industrial institutions/establishments covered under the Board are eligible for scholarship benefits. The scholarship is provided to students from Class 5th to 12th and higher education, who have passed their previous class.

About This Scheme

The Academic Scholarship Scheme is implemented under the Labour Welfare Board, Labour Department, Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, up to two children of workers employed in industrial institutions/establishments covered under the Board are eligible for scholarship benefits. The scholarship is provided to students from Class 5th to 12th and higher education, who have passed their previous class and are studying in Madhya Pradesh. The benefits are granted once a year, provided the applicant does not receive a scholarship from any other department and applies in the prescribed format.

Class-wise Scholarship Amount:

Class 5th to 8th – ₹2,000/-

Class 9th & 10th – ₹4,450/-

Class 11th & 12th – ₹4,700/-

ITI (Certificate Course) – ₹5,000/-

Polytechnic (Diploma Course) – ₹5,000/-

General Graduate (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA) – ₹7,700/-

Engineering (BE/B.Tech) – ₹10,000/-

MBBS/BDS – ₹12,500/-

Pharmacy, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic (UG, PG, Diploma), Paramedical, Nursing Courses – ₹9,000/-

Law Courses – ₹10,000/-

General PG Courses (MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA) – ₹7,700/-

ME/M.Tech – ₹11,500/-

PGDM & Other Management Diplomas – ₹7,700/-

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a child of a worker employed in an industrial institution/establishment covered under the M.P. Labour Welfare Fund Act 1982.

The applicant should be studying as a regular student in an educational institution in Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant should have passed the previous class.

The applicant should not be receiving a scholarship from any other department.

The applicant should be studying in Class 5th to 12th, ITI, Polytechnic, General Graduate, Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Pharmacy, Paramedical, Nursing, Law, PG Courses, M.E./M.Tech, PGDM, or other management diploma courses.

Register on the Portal

Step 1: Visit the Lok Seva Guarantee Madhya Pradesh

Portal.

Step 2: Click on “

Citizen Registration

” and fill in the required details.

Step 3: Verify your mobile number by clicking “Click here to Verify your Mobile No.”

Step 4: After verification, you will receive a Registration Number on your registered mobile and email.

Login to the Portal

Step 1: Go to the Lok Seva Guarantee Madhya Pradesh

again.

Step 2: Click on

“Login

“, enter your Email/Mobile/User ID and Password, and log in.

Step 3: Select “Labour Department” and choose the scheme name.

Step 4: Complete the

form

by entering all required details (marked with *).

Step 5: Upload all necessary documents, such as ID proof and other relevant certificates.

Step 6: After completing the form and uploading the documents, click Submit

Fee Structure

No administrative fee is charged by the Board for availing this service.

If the application is submitted through a Public Service Centre, the applicant is required to pay the prescribed service fee as determined by the e-Governance/Public Service Centre.

Appeal Process

First Appeal

The first appeal must be submitted to the Assistant Welfare Commissioner, M.P. Labour Welfare Board.

The appeal will be reviewed and resolved within 30 working days.

Second Appeal

If the applicant is dissatisfied with the decision of the First Appellate Authority, a Second Appeal can be filed.

The second appeal must be submitted to the Welfare Commissioner, M.P. Labour Welfare Board for final resolution.
