The Children Education Allowance scheme implemented by the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board. Under this scheme, children of registered beneficiaries studying from Nursery to Class 10 are provided βΉ500/- per month per child as education assistance. The scholarship applies to a maximum of two children per family.

Financial assistance of βΉ500/- per child, per month, for up to two children.
Eligibility Criteria
The worker should be engaged in building or construction work.
The worker should be registered with the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board.
The workerβs child should be studying between Nursery and 10th Class.
A maximum of two children per family are eligible.
Application Process

Step-1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step-2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step-3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the Assistant Labour Commissioner.
Step-4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the Assistant Labour Commissioner to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
