This scheme awards special prizes to meritorious Scheduled Caste students who secure the highest marks in the Class 10th and 12th board examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, and ICSE in the state.
About This Scheme
The “Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award Scheme” was launched by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to encourage students from the Scheduled Caste category to achieve high academic scores and motivate them to pursue higher education. This scheme awards special prizes to meritorious Scheduled Caste students who secure the highest marks in the Class 10th and 12th board examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, and ICSE in the state.

Awards for securing the highest marks in the Class 10th Board examinations:
1st prize (Boy/Girl): âš30,000/-
2nd prize (Boy/Girl): âš25,000/-
3rd prize (Boy/Girl): âš20,000/-
4th prize (Only Girl): âš15,000/-
5th prize (Only Girl): âš10,000/-
6th prize (Only Girl): âš5,000/-
Awards for securing the highest marks in the Class 12th Board examinations:
1st prize (Boy/Girl): âš51,000/-
2nd prize (Boy/Girl): âš40,000/-
3rd prize (Boy/Girl): âš30,000/-
4th prize (Only Girl): âš20,000/-
5th prize (Only Girl): âš15,000/-
6th prize (Only Girl): âš10,000/-
Note: Payments are made into the bank accounts of the applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
Meritorious students from Scheduled Caste categories who secure the highest marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations (Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, or ICSE) in the state are eligible for the award.
The student should belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
Application Process
Apply Offline
Students studying in the school must submit their applications to the head of the institution.
In the institute or hostel where the student is admitted, the head of the institute or superintendent will complete the necessary formalities upon receiving the application.
