Distribution of Free Books and Stationery to SC/ST Students
Under this scheme, free books and stationery are provided to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at government colleges. Eligible students receive books worth ₹1,500/- and stationery worth ₹500/- per year.
About This Scheme
The “Distribution of Free Books and Stationery to SC/ST Students” scheme, implemented by the Higher Education Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, free books and stationery are provided to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at government colleges. Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
The applicant should be a regular student.
The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.
The applicant should be studying in a government college.
The applicant should be pursuing either a graduation or post-graduation course.
Application Process
Apply Offline
Eligible students should contact the head or principal of their respective government colleges.
Note 1: After admission, the principal or head of the college will purchase books from the Hindi Granth Academy according to the book purchase rules and distribute them to SC/ST students.
Note 2: Stationery is provided by the college.
