The “Dr. V.N. Mathur Award (M.Sc. Mathematics)” scheme is implemented by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. The applicant must be enrolled in an M.Sc. Mathematics course at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.

A committee, constituted by the Vice Chancellor, then reviews and evaluates these applications following a defined procedure. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the Vice Chancellor grants approval, after which the selected students receive the payments.
