The initiative is overseen by the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries, ensuring effective implementation.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for the scheme:

  • The organization must be one of the following:
    • A Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Society Registration Act.
    • A cooperative society registered under applicable cooperative legislation.
    • A registered trust according to relevant trust laws.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Own a plot of land measuring between 1000 to 1200 square feet.
  • Ensure that the land is classified as Non-Agricultural.
  • Demonstrate capability in managing suitable facilities, raw materials, and technical or administrative staff.
  • Commit to providing employment to at least 25 artisans as part of village activities.

Application Process

To apply for the Gramodhyog Vikas Kendra scheme, follow these steps:

New Registration Steps

  1. Visit the e-Kutir portal. Click on “For New Sakhi Mandal / Industrial Cooperative Society / NGO Registration / Khadi Organization – Mandali, Click Here” on the right pane.
  2. On the registration page, complete all mandatory fields indicated with an asterisk (*).
  3. A confirmation pop-up will appear to verify your entered information. If everything is correct, click “Confirm.” If there are any mistakes, click “Cancel,” correct the details, and register again.
  4. Once registration is successful, your User ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. If an email address was provided, the credentials will also be sent there.

Login and User Profile Update

  1. Access the e-Kutir portal and enter your User ID, Password, and Captcha Code in the “Login to Portal” section, then click “Login.”
  2. On your first login, complete the “User Profile” by filling in your personal and organizational details. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. Some fields may already be pre-filled.
  3. Most details can be updated later from the “View Profile” section, except for the fields filled during registration.

Scheme Application Steps

  1. After logging in and completing your profile, relevant schemes will be displayed on your homepage. Select the scheme you wish to apply for, which will direct you to the online application form.
  2. Fill in all required fields and upload necessary documents in the specified formats. Enter the corresponding document numbers where required and click “Save & Next” to proceed.
  3. Thoroughly review all provided information and uploaded documents. Make any necessary corrections. Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the designated box before proceeding.
  4. Finalizing the application by clicking “Save & Next” in the last tab will generate an application number. Keep this number for future reference. You can print the application by clicking the “Print Application” button.

Application Printing and Modification

If you wish to print your application, simply click “Print Application.” In case your application is returned for modifications, a “Modify” button will appear, allowing you to edit and resubmit your application.

Step 3: A confirmation pop-up will display the entered name, mobile number, and other details. If all the details are correct, click "Confirm" to proceed. If any information is incorrect, click "Cancel", make the necessary corrections, and then click "Register" again.
Step 4: Upon successful registration, the User ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. If an email address has been provided, the credentials will also be sent via email.

Steps for Login Procedure and User Profile Update
Step 1: Visit the eKutir portal
. In the right pane of the landing page (in the "Login to Portal" section), provide your User ID, Password, and the Captcha Code. Then click "Login".
Step 2: Upon first login, the user must complete the "User Profile" by providing personal and organisational details. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. Some fields will already be pre-filled based on the information provided during registration.

Steps for Scheme Application
Step 1: After logging in and completing the profile, the system displays schemes relevant to the user on the homepage. Click on the name of the scheme that you intend to apply for. You will be redirected to the online application form of the scheme. The application form is divided into multiple tabs.
Step 2: In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size. For each uploaded document, the corresponding document number must be entered wherever required. Click the “Save & Next” button to proceed to the subsequent tabs.
Step 3: Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. Acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions, declaration, and privacy policy (if any) by ticking the designated checkbox.
Step 4: Clicking “Save & Next” in the last tab of the application form generates an application number, which is displayed on the screen. The applicant must record this number for future reference. If the applicant wishes to print the application, they may click the “Print Application” button.
*If you do not wish to continue with the application at that point, you may click "Cancel".

If the application has been returned for revision, a “Modify” button will appear. The user can then edit the application and resubmit it.
