Benefits

Capacity Building & Promotion:

Assistance for publication and promotional materials related to horticultural crops.

Financial support for organizing and participating in exhibitions, competitions, and seminars.

Subsidy for organizing or participating in Krishi Melas and payment for stall rentals.

Farm Mechanization Support:

Subsidy for purchase of power tillers and mini tractors to enhance horticultural productivity.

Financial aid for harvesting equipment and crop protection equipment.

Processing & Value Addition:

Support for establishment of new distillation units for medicinal and aromatic crops.

Subsidy for setting up new processing units for cashew and other fruit crops.

Assistance for processing equipment for value addition.

Export Promotion:

Sea fridge subsidy for export of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and plants.

Air fridge subsidy to promote export of horticultural produce.

Price Stabilization:

Minimum Support Price (MSP) assistance to ensure stable market prices for horticultural crops.

Infrastructure & Utilities Support:

Subsidy on electricity bills for operating greenhouses and tissue culture laboratories.

Support for hi-tech greenhouses (with fan and pad system).

Support for naturally ventilated polyhouses and net houses.

Post-Harvest Management:

Subsidy for packing materials used in post-harvest handling of horticultural produce.

Support for setting up kaccha mandaps for tomato/chilly and other vegetable marketing.

Construction of vegetable trellises and half-lined pedestrian paths for climbing vegetable crops.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.

The applicant should be a farmer.

The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

The applicant should be practicing horticulture in tribal areas.

Registration Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side, then click on “Beneficiary Registration” and select any one from the ‘Farmer’ or ‘Institutional’ or ‘Except For the Farmer’ as the Beneficiary Type.

Step 3: Select the District, Taluka, and Village, choose ‘what type of account holder you are?’, enter your Account Number and Name, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Save and Next’.

Step 4: Enter your Mobile Number and Email address, click ‘Send OTP’, enter the received OTP, create and confirm a Password, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Submit’.

Login Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side of the homepage. On the home page, click on β€˜Schemes’ and then click on β€˜Agricultural Schemes’.

Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the β€˜Apply’ button, and an application page will open.

Step 4: Click on the “Apply New” button and submit a new application.

Step 5: Click on the “Update Application” button to add corrections to the application.

Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.

Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmed application.
