About This Scheme
The scheme “Kishori Balika Yojana” is implemented by the Department of Women Empowerment & Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to create awareness among adolescent girls aged 14 to 18 years about nutrition, health, and life cycle issues, and also provides supplementary nutrition for 300 days in a year.

Under this scheme, awareness is created among adolescent girls about nutrition, health, and life cycle issues. They are also provided supplementary nutrition (fortified rice and wheat for 25 days each month) for 300 days in a year.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
The applicant must be an adolescent girl in the age group of 14 to 18 years.
The applicant must be residing in one of the aspirational districts of Uttarakhand- Haridwar or Udham Singh Nagar.

, for which the Aadhaar card and birth certificate of the adolescent girl are required.
