About This Scheme
The βKisan Credit Card Scheme for Fisheriesβ is a component scheme under the “Chief Minister Fishermen Prosperity Scheme” launched by the Fisheries Welfare and Fisheries Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, working capital is provided at a zero percent interest rate through cooperative banks to the fish farmers engaged in fisheries operations. The scheme offers interest subvention to ensure affordable credit for beneficiaries and reduce their financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a landholding farmer, marginal farmer, small farmer, fish farmer, livestock owner, BPL beneficiary, unorganized worker card holder, or registered worker.
The applicant must be engaged in fisheries activities.
Application Process
Apply Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the District Fisheries Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District Fisheries Office.
