Benefits of the Scheme
Under the Laado Protsahan Yojana, beneficiaries receive a monetary benefit of ₹1,50,000, which is disbursed across seven installments:

Disbursement Process
A commitment letter for ₹1.50 lakh is issued at the time of a girl child’s birth. The funds are transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in seven installments:
- The first six installments are credited to the bank account of the parents or guardians until the girl turns 21.
- The seventh installment is directly transferred to the girl’s account upon her graduation and reaching adulthood.
It is crucial to note that if any installment is not claimed after the first two, the eligible girl child may still receive subsequent installments with valid justification. Furthermore, there are no restrictions on the number of girl children eligible for the third and later installments, provided the first two installments have been received.
The Laado Protsahan Yojana will also incorporate the remaining benefits from the Rajshree Yojana, ensuring continued support for eligible beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a woman residing in Rajasthan.
- The girl child must be born in a government or Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) authorized institution.
- Full immunization of the child must be ensured for the second installment.
- The girl must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution for future installments.
- To receive the final installment, the girl must graduate from a recognized institution and be 21 years old.
How to Apply
Offline Application Process
For Applicants:
- Step 1: Collect all necessary documents required for the application.
- Step 2: Visit the nearest office of the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare.
For the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare:
- For the first two installments, data is entered on the PCTS portal during antenatal checkups and post-delivery.
- DBT for these installments is processed automatically by the department.
- To claim the second installment, the full immunization record must be uploaded on the PCTS/OJAS portal, and payment will be made upon verification.
- For installments three to six, school admissions are tracked automatically, eliminating the need for new applications from parents.
- The final installment is processed once the Department of Higher Education verifies the girl’s graduation documents and her age.

Mode of Disbursement:
A commitment letter of ₹1.50 lakh will be issued at the birth of a girl child.
The entire amount will be disbursed online through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in seven installments.
Until the girl attains adulthood, the first six installments will be transferred to the bank account of her parents or guardian, and the seventh installment will be transferred to the girl's own bank account through DBT.
Notes:
If the benefit of any installment is not availed at any stage after the first two installments of the scheme, the eligible girl child may still be granted the next installment, provided a valid and reasonable justification is given.
There is no limit on the number of girl children eligible to receive the third and subsequent installments under the scheme. All girls who have already received the first two installments will be entitled to continue receiving benefits under the scheme.
The Rajshree Yojana will be merged with the Laado Protsahan Yojana, and the remaining installments of the Rajshree Yojana will be provided under the Laado Protsahan Yojana as per eligibility.

For Second Installment:

Based on verification, payment is made to parent/guardian’s account.
For Installments 3 to 6 (School Admissions):
Automatically tracked by schools through the portal using earlier installment IDs.
No fresh application is required from parents/guardians.
For Final (Seventh) Installment:
The Department of Higher Education uploads the girl’s graduation documents.
Payment is made to the girl’s own bank account after verifying she is 21 years old.
