The scheme “Mahila Bakri Palan” was introduced by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Uttarakhand. Benefits

Under this scheme, one unit of goats (3 females and 1 male) aged 12 to 18 months is provided to eligible women. The entire cost of the scheme, ₹35,000, is borne by the State Government.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

The applicant must be a woman.

The applicant must be from one of the following categories:

Abandoned

Widow

Destitute

Single woman

Disaster-affected woman

Application Process

Apply Offline

Selection of beneficiaries will be made on a “first come, first served” basis.

Applicants must submit Aadhaar card, bank account details, and other documents related to criteria mentioned, along with their proposal.
