About This Scheme
The βMukhyamantri Balika (Snatak) Protsahan Yojanaβ, is a component of the βMukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojnaβ, launched by the Department of Education, Bihar. The scheme aims to promote higher education and empower girls by making them self-reliant. A lump sum incentive of βΉ25,000/- is awarded to girl students from Bihar who have successfully graduated from recognized institutions within the state. The amount is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of Bihar.
The applicant must have graduated or obtained an equivalent degree (including Alim or Shastri) after April 25, 2018, from a government-recognized or affiliated institution within Bihar.
The scheme applies to graduates from general, technical, or professional courses.
The applicant must have an account in any nationalized bank, recognized private bank or India Postal Payment Bank located in Bihar.
