Mukhyamantri Madad Yojana (मुख्यमंत्री मदद योजना)

The Mukhyamantri Madad Yojana, initiated by the Tribal Affairs Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh on October 2, 2019, aims to support Scheduled Tribe families during significant life events such as the birth of a child and the death of a family member. This initiative helps alleviate the financial burden on these families by providing essential food supplies and cooking utensils.

Scheme Overview

Upon the birth of a child, families receive 50 kg of wheat or rice along with cooking utensils from the Panchayat. In cases of bereavement, the family is entitled to receive 1 quintal (100 kg) of wheat or rice. Furthermore, a budget of ₹25,000 is allocated to each village, deposited into the bank account of the Gram Panchayat Secretary, specifically for the procurement of cooking utensils.
