Launched on 1st April 2018, the scheme “Mukhya Mantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana” by the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides maternity support to pregnant women over 18 years of age who are registered as unorganized workers.

About This Scheme

Launched on 1st April 2018, the scheme “Mukhya Mantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana” by the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides maternity support to pregnant women over 18 years of age who are registered as unorganized workers. The benefit is applicable only for deliveries in government hospitals and is limited to a maximum of two live births.

Benefits

First Installment:

₹4,000/- during pregnancy.

Requires four prenatal check-ups by a doctor or ANM in the prescribed period until the last trimester.

Second Installment:

₹12,000/- for delivery in a government hospital.

Requires early breastfeeding initiation, registration of the newborn, and institutional birth.

Infant must receive 0 doses of BCG, OPV, and Hepatitis B vaccinations.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a pregnant woman.

The applicant should be over 18 years of age.

The applicant should be registered as an unorganized worker.

The applicant should have the delivery in a government hospital.

The applicant should not already have had two live births.

Application Process

Apply Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) theApplication is made to the Block Medical Officer in rural area and Civil Surgeon District Hospital in urban area, and request the hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the concerned authority.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the authority.

Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).

NOTE: Ensure that the application is submitted within the prescribed period, if any.
