The scheme aims to cover the tuition fees for meritorious students from Madhya Pradesh admitted to graduate courses. Financial assistance for admission and course fees is provided to eligible students through this scheme.

About This Scheme

The scheme “Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana” by the state government of Madhya Pradesh aims to ensure that the students who have secured 70% or more marks in the 12th examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education or 85% or more marks in the 12th board examination conducted by CBSE/ICSE and are residents of Madhya Pradesh and their father/guardian’s annual income is less than โ‚น8,00,000/-, the state government will bear the tuition fee of such students under the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana on getting admission in the following graduate level education courses. Under the scheme, as expenditure fee for graduation level, only the admission fee and the actual fee (excluding mess fee and caution money), which has been determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee or M.P. Private University Regulatory Commission or the Government of India/State Government will be paid.

Benefits

1. General Coverage:

Only the admission fee and the actual fee (excluding mess fee and caution money), as determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee or Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission or the Government of India/State Government, will be paid as an expenditure fee for graduation level.

2. For Engineering Studies (after securing a rank within 1,50,000 in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains exam):

Full fees on admission to a government engineering college.

โ‚น1,50,000/- on admission to a grant-in-aid/private engineering college, or the actual tuition fee, whichever is less.

3. For Medical Studies (after securing admission through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)):

Tuition fee for admission in the MBBS/BDS course of Central or State Government Medical/Dental College.

Tuition fee for admission in the MBBS course of a private medical college situated in Madhya Pradesh.

Tuition fee for the MBBS course in Government of India institutions, where admission is obtained on the basis of an examination conducted by the institution itself.

4. For Law Studies (after securing admission through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or self-conducted examination):

Tuition fee for admission in National Law Universities and Delhi University.

5. For Other Graduate and Integrated Postgraduate Programs:

Tuition fees for admission in graduation programs, integrated post-graduation programs, and dual degree courses (which include a bachelor’s degree along with a master’s degree) run in all universities/institutions of the Government of India.

Tuition fee for admission in all courses run in all government and aided colleges/universities of the state government.

Tuition fee for diploma courses of polytechnic colleges (in which admission is obtained on the basis of the 12th examination).

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

2. The annual income of the applicant’s father/guardian must be less than โ‚น8,00,000/-.

3. The applicant must have secured 70% or more marks in the 12th examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education from the academic session 2018-19 onwards.

4. The applicant must have secured 85% or more marks in the 12th examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE).

5. The applicant who obtained the specified marks in the 12th examinations prior to 2016 will also be eligible.

6. For Engineering Studies:

Course List

The applicant should have obtained a rank within 1,50,000/- in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains exam.

The applicant should have gained admission to any government or private engineering college on this basis. If an engineering college provides admission based on a separate entrance examination, and the student holds a JEE Mains rank within 1,50,000/-, the applicant is also eligible.

7. For Medical Studies:

Course List

The applicant should have obtained admission based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) into an MBBS/BDS course of a Central or State Government Medical/Dental College.

The applicant should have also obtained admission into an MBBS course of a private medical college situated in Madhya Pradesh. Applicants who have obtained admission to MBBS courses in Government of India institutions based on examinations conducted by the institutions themselves will also be eligible.

8. For Law Studies:

Course List

The applicant should have obtained admission after the twelfth class to National Law Universities (NLU) and Delhi University through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or through an examination conducted by the university itself.

9. For Other Graduate and Integrated Postgraduate Programs:

Course List

The applicant should have obtained admission to a Graduation Program, an Integrated Post Graduation Program, or a Dual Degree Course (which includes a Master’s degree along with a Bachelor’s degree) operated in any university/institution of the Government of India.

10. The applicant should have obtained admission to any course operated in all government and grant-in-aid colleges/universities of the state government.

11. The applicant must have obtained admission to diploma courses in polytechnic colleges (where admission is based on the 12th examination).

Step 2: Click on the link titled ‘Application for MMVY Only’ from the options displayed on the home page.

Step 3: Choose the relevant academic year, “Register for Academic Year 2024-25(Fresh/Renewal)”, and click on it.

Step 4: Click on the โ€˜

New Applicant

โ€™ button to begin the registration process.

Step 5: Enter your 9-digit Samagra ID and then click on the โ€˜Verifyโ€™ button.

Step 6: You will receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP and submit it for verification.

Step 7: Fill in all the required personal details and other information in the โ€˜Registration Formโ€™ and then submit it.

Step 8: Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message that includes your reference number, user ID, and password.

Step 3: Select the desired scheme from the available options and click on the โ€˜Applyโ€™ button.
