The “Subsidy for Medium Scale Ornamental Fish Rearing Unit (Fresh Water)” is a key component of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, managed by the Fisheries Department of the Government of Haryana. This centrally sponsored program is designed to promote the ornamental fish farming industry while providing a viable source of income for local communities.

Financial assistance will be given to beneficiaries for developing essential infrastructure, provided they own a minimum of 150 square meters of land with access to fresh water. The aim is to cultivate ornamental fish and support sustainable aquaculture practices.

Benefits

Tangible Benefits:

• Project Cost: ₹8,00,000/- per unit
• The subsidy for applicants from the General Category is capped at 40% of the project cost.
• For beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes (SC) or women, the subsidy reaches up to 60% of the project cost.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a resident of Haryana.
• A valid Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) is required.
• Applicants should possess at least 150 square meters of vacant land with sufficient water supply.
• Ownership of the land or a registered lease deed valid for a minimum of 7 years is essential.

The application process is conducted through the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal. Follow these steps for registration:

1. Navigate to the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
2. Select “New User/Register Here” and provide the required details such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and password. Click ‘Submit’.
3. Verify the OTP received via Email and Mobile Number or activate your profile using the provided verification link.

Login to Apply for the Scheme

1. Access the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
2. Click on “Sign in here” on the right side of the page. Enter your credentials and hit the ‘Login’ button.
3. Select “Scheme/Services list” to view available schemes.
4. Choose the relevant scheme and click on “Apply for Service/Scheme”.
5. Complete the online form and click “Submit”.
