The Nationwide Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP), is a flagship program of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying. The objective of the programme is to increase the productivity of livestock by improving the genetic potential through artificial insemination.

About This Scheme

The Madhya Pradesh government has launched a nationwide Artificial Insemination (AI) programme to improve the reproductive health of livestock and enhance the productivity of livestock. The programme is being implemented with the help of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, the Government of India and the National Dairy Development Board.

Through this programme, AI technicians will be trained at the district level and AI services will be provided to the farmers. The programme will focus on the use of quality semen and improved scientific techniques for better reproductive performance. The programme also aims to reduce the cost of artificial insemination for the farmers. The programme is expected to help the farmers to improve their income and the overall economic condition of the state

Eligibility Criteria

The livestock owner should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant should have valid livestock registration documents.

The applicant should have the required infrastructure to undertake AI operations.

The applicant should not belong to any of the scheduled castes and tribes.

The applicant should have the required knowledge and skill to undertake AI operations.

The applicant should not have any prior criminal record.

Application Process

Apply Offline

Visit the official website of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services of Madhya Pradesh.

Locate the β€œNationwide Artificial Insemination Programme” link and click on it.

Read the instructions carefully and click on the β€œApply Now” button.

Fill out the application form with all the required information and submit it.

After submission, an acknowledgment will be sent to your registered email ID.

Wait for the confirmation mail from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services of Madhya Pradesh.

Once your application is approved, you will receive an AI Kit with all the necessary items required for the AI process.

Follow the instructions given in the AI kit and complete the process.
