The scheme “Nishulk Swasthya Jaanch Yojana” is an initiative under the National Health Mission (NHM) implemented by the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to ensure accessible, affordable and quality healthcare services for all citizens of Uttarakhand by providing free diagnostic tests across government healthcare facilities.
Benefits
Free diagnostic tests are provided at district hospitals, sub-district hospitals, community health centres, urban primary health centres, and primary health centres. Under the scheme, a total of 266 tests are available completely free of charge.
Eligibility Criteria
The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
The beneficiary can avail free health check-ups after registering at any government hospital in the state.

Patients visiting these healthcare facilities after the scheduled hours, as determined by the hospital’s CMS or Hospital In-charge, are provided free diagnostic tests by personnel from an empanelled or contracted firm.
