Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant should actively work as a Building or Construction Worker.
• The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 60 years.
• The applicant must have engaged in building or construction activities for a minimum of 90 days within a year.

For availing the benefits of this welfare scheme, the applicant must meet these conditions:

• The applicant should be a registered member of the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of the U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Application Procedure

Offline Application Process for Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

1. The applicant must fill out the prescribed registration form, including all required documents and a nominal fee not exceeding ₹50.
2. This application should then be submitted to the officer designated by the Board for processing.

Application Process for the Welfare Scheme:

1. A registered worker needs to request the specific application format from the authorized officer of the Board and attach all necessary documents (self-attested if needed).
2. The completed application must be submitted to the Member Secretary of the BOCW Welfare Board to avail the benefits.
