About This Scheme
The Safety Audit Scheme by the Government of Haryana aims to promote safety practices within Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by supporting them in conducting safety audits and implementing safety equipment. The scheme seeks to minimize workplace hazards and enhance industrial safety standards.
Objective
The objective of the scheme is to promote safety audit which is a tool that can be utilized to improve safety and attitudes in the workplace. A safety audit is an inventory or checklist of items specifically geared to operations of an enterprise. It allows them to take action, correct hazards, and determine the appropriate actions to take to achieve the desired safety goals. Measuring safety performance also provides a baseline to compare future safety initiatives. It documents the effectiveness of safety program, identify compliance deficiencies, suggest safety solutions, improve the environment and personnel safety, reduce incidents and injuries and increase workplace safety.
Benefits
75% reimbursement of expenses incurred for conducting safety audits, up to ₹1,00,000/-.
50% subsidy on cost of capital equipment required for safety measures, up to ₹5,00,000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise (MSME), either newly established or existing.
The enterprise must be registered with the appropriate authority (e.g., Udyog Aadhaar / EM Part-II).
The safety audit must be conducted by auditors from a recognized ISO-certified agency.
The industrial units must also comply with the following conditions:
The item of manufacture should not fall in the restrictive list as notified by the State Government from time to time.
Investments in new plant, machinery and equipments focussed towards enhancing safety shall only be eligible for subsidy under this scheme.
The units should have obtained NOC/CLU from competent authority, if applicable.
The units should be in commercial production.
The units should be in regular production at the time of disbursement and the assistance shall not be released to the closed unit.

Registration Process on Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:
Step 1: Visit the Official Portal:
Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
Step 2: For registration, click on “New User/Register Here” and fill in all the mandatory details i.e. Name, Email ID, Mobile Number & password. Click on ‘Submit’.
Step 3: Verify the OTP received in the provided Email and Mobile Number. Alternatively, click on the Verification Link to activate the profile.
Login to Apply for the Scheme:
Step 1: Visit the Official Portal:
Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
Step 2: The “Sign in here” option is available on the right side of the screen. Fill in the required credentials and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 3: In the opened window, click on “Scheme/Services list”, and a list of schemes will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Now, select the scheme and click on “Apply for Service/Scheme”.
Step 5: Fill in all the details in the online application form and click on “Submit”.
