About This Scheme
The scheme βSeed Programβ launched by the Horticulture and Food Processing Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, aims to support small and marginal farmers and agricultural laborers living below the poverty line through the provision of free vegetable seeds to improve household nutrition and crop productivity. The scheme distributes seed packets worth βΉ50 containing vegetables like bottle gourd, ladyfinger, beans, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, spinach, and cowpea.
Benefits
Free Seed Distribution: Seed packets containing seeds of bottle gourd, ladyfinger, beans, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, spinach, and cowpea worth βΉ50/- are provided free of cost to eligible beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a farmer.
The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
The applicant must belong to the Below the Poverty Line (BPL) category.
