Top Working Program
The scheme aims to transform local varieties of Mango, Ber, Amla, and other indigenous plants into improved varieties. It also provides 20 days of Top Working training to unemployed rural youth.
About This Scheme
The scheme βTop Working Programβ launched by the Horticulture and Food Processing Department, Madhya Pradesh, aims to enhance horticultural productivity by training rural unemployed youth to convert local fruit plant species into improved varieties and providing financial assistance for grafting activities.
Benefits
Training Benefit: Provision of 20-day training on top working techniques to rural unemployed youth.
Tool Kit Distribution: Each trainee is provided with a tool kit worth up to βΉ400/- during the training period.
Financial Incentive for Successful Grafting: A payment of βΉ10/- per successfully grafted tree is provided once the branches reach approximately 2 feet in length.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
The applicant must belong to rural area.
The applicant must be an unemployed youth.
